Learn More"Providers who offer accurate, non-invasive, and mindful care, knowing when intervention is necessary and when it is not, are those who are properly trained."
Hi, I'm Dr. Chelsea Pinto.
I'm a dentist, educator, and Certified Lactation Counselor, and for the past 10 years I've dedicated my career to infant and toddler oral functional care, specializing in tongue tie evaluation and treatment, laser frenectomy, and light therapy. It has been an exciting journey.
I've evaluated and treated thousands of babies and have been moved by the transformations I've witnessed: families finding their footing, babies thriving, and the profound impact that thoughtful, individualized care can have on a little one's life.
My approach has always been collaborative. I proudly provide families with the knowledge to support their child's oral motor skills, including appropriate therapeutic and feeding support referrals for an individualized and comprehensive approach. Providers who offer accurate, non-invasive, and mindful care, knowing when intervention is necessary and when it is not, are those who are properly trained. Knowing when to recommend a frenectomy and equally, knowing when not to, is at the core of thoughtful practice.
That's what led me to found the Infant Frenectomy Protocol and shift my focus entirely to education and mentorship. Because when providers take ownership over their protocols and feel confident in their messaging, families receive the clear, empowering guidance they deserve.
I also understand how light therapy works in an oral motor focused practice with real patients, especially little ones. I've been amazed by how impactful it is. Babies are so receptive, families are so grateful, and the results speak for themselves. Light therapy genuinely changed how I practice and how I showed up for my patients.
